React Pump Foot Valve

Every React pump owner with a suction lift should have a spare foot valve on the shelf (other than those who have a gravity fed supply)

This foot valve assembly comes with:

• High quality (low loss)  PVC foot valve - must be mounted vertically
• 25mm Stainless steel barb fitting included
• 2 x large blue inner foam tube filter (1 is your spare)
• 2 x mesh outer filter bag (1 is your spare)
• 1 x stainless steel peg to close end of blue filter tube - see image
• 2 x cable ties - for securing the filter bag in place

This part must be replaced each year and kept in perfect working order. Once the foot valve starts to leak, the React pump may be unable to clear air in the system and hence not be able draw water into the pump body on sunrise. 

Please note: the blue filters are sent vacuum packed, once opened they will need 12 hours to to fully recover before use.  The blue filter tube must we fully pulled over the largest diameter on the foot valve, the open end closed off with the peg, then inserted in the bag and sealed with the cable tie as shown.
