We supply this cable by the 100m roll or in 5m increments.

This wire has a red outer sheath (we no longer have the white outer sheath). Inner wire colours are red and black.

Continuous rating is typically about 28 amps in free air or 17 amps if in insulation or protected in plastic conduit.

This wire has many applications in renewable energy applications. It is often used as control signal wire to divert surplus power via a SSR (DC or AC) to a hot water heaters via the PCE Aux relay. For more information on this click here.

Can be used for inside ELV DC wiring.

Can be used outside (in conduit) for ELV DC wiring.

Note: if wiring your own system in NZ, you can do so for voltages up to 120 VDC (ELV) if you have suitable knowledge and experience. For LV systems (>120 VDC) this is prescribed electrical work and it must be done by a licenced electrician.
